Profile of Students Beginning Program August 2006

Our inaugural class members came from near (Brooklyn) and far (Baghdad) to attend CUNY. They include a number of working journalists who sought to improve their reporting and writing and to learn new technical skills, as well as recent college graduates who had been involved as undergraduates in student media.
